The IDF said that during the operation, two attempts by armed cells to attack Israeli forces were identified by the 869th Unit. The military said the individuals involved were struck in coordinated drone and air force attacks and were killed.
It also reported the discovery of multiple weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank rockets, and RPG launchers, as well as an underground storage facility containing mortar shells.
The Israeli military released footage of the operation, saying it showed militants being identified in vegetation and the subsequent discovery of hidden weapons infrastructure.
