Israeli military says it struck Hezbollah targets in Lebanon's Bint Jbeil area VIDEO
The Israeli military said it has continued operations against what it described as Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including strikes that resulted in the killing of several militants.
According to a statement from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), units of the 98th Division identified three armed individuals near an area where its forces were operating along the front line, Caliber.Az reports.
The IDF said that after the individuals were detected and surrounded, the Israeli Air Force carried out a strike that “eliminated the militants,” describing them as posing a threat to its troops.

The military also said it struck several sites it identified as belonging to Hezbollah, including a building it described as a headquarters in the Bint Jbeil area, as well as other facilities. It said secondary explosions were observed, which it stated indicated the presence of weapons.
“The IDF will continue to act against threats to Israeli citizens and IDF forces, operating in accordance with the instructions of the political leadership,” the statement added.
There was no immediate response from Hezbollah or Lebanese authorities regarding the reported strikes.
