Israeli military says troops killed militants approaching forces in Gaza VIDEO
The Israeli military said its forces killed several suspected militants in separate incidents in the Gaza Strip on May 22 after identifying what it described as immediate threats to troops operating in the area.
According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), troops from the Paratroopers Brigade operating in southern Gaza identified several individuals who had crossed the “Yellow Line” and approached Israeli forces. The military said the suspects were considered a direct threat, prompting troops to open fire, Caliber.Az reports.

In a separate incident in northern Gaza, troops from the 14th Brigade identified another individual who had also crossed the “Yellow Line” and approached soldiers, the IDF said.
“Following the identifications, the troops struck and eliminated the terrorists in order to remove the threat,” the military said in a statement.
The IDF added that forces under the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and would continue operations against what it called immediate threats.
