Israeli military vehicle struck by explosive device in Rafah operation

An explosive device was detonated against a vehicle of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the Rafah area during operational activity aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure.

As a result of the blast, one serviceman—a combat officer—sustained light injuries, Caliber.Az reports, citing IDF press service.

“Earlier today (Wednesday), an explosive device was detonated against an IDF vehicle during operational activity aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure in the area of Rafah. As a result, a combat officer was lightly injured and was evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment. His family has been notified,” the statement by IDF reads.
