Israeli minister orders to continue making strikes against Islamic Jihad

Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz has ordered the Israeli military to continue making precision strikes against the radical Palestinian "Islamic Jihad" movement in the Gaza Strip.

“Gantz has held a situation assessment meeting this morning in the presence of the chief of the General Staff, the director general at the Ministry of Defence, the heads of army intelligence and operational management departments,” TASS informs referring to the Israeli Defence Ministry.

“Moreover, Gantz has ordered the military to continue conducting the operations against Islamic Jihad movement, focusing on operations to prevent missile attacks on Israel from Gaza," the message said.
