Israeli Navy intercepts drone launched from Lebanon

The Israeli military said its naval forces intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) launched from Lebanon toward Israeli territory overnight on April 15.

In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said missile boat crews detected and intercepted the drone before it could reach its targetm, Caliber.Az reports.

The military said Israeli Navy missile boat units have participated in around 40 defensive operations since the start of what it called “Operation Roaring Lion,” during which they have intercepted drones launched toward Israeli territory.

No injuries or damage were reported in the incident.
