Israeli official warns situation with Iran not over yet
Israel is closely monitoring Iran’s nuclear and military developments, amid concerns that Tehran is strengthening its defences and resuming work at key nuclear sites, Israel’s conservative Beiteinu party Chairman Avigdor Liberman said.
Liberman said that anyone who believes the situation with Iran is over is “mistaken and misleading,” he wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports.

He noted that Iran is allegedly enhancing its military capabilities on a daily basis and that work at nuclear facilities has allegedly resumed. He also highlighted that leading countries have reinstated the “snapback” sanctions mechanism against Tehran, reflecting international apprehension over Iran’s nuclear program.
While encouraging Israelis to celebrate the Sukkot holiday with family and friends, Liberman stressed the importance of remaining cautious and staying near protected areas.
He criticised the current government for its handling of security issues, asserting that citizens must rely on the Israel Defense Forces and themselves until the government’s shortcomings are addressed.
