Israeli PM reveals operation against Iran planned since November 2024
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has disclosed that the ongoing military campaign against Iran has been in preparation since November 2024, marking a meticulously planned effort aimed at dismantling Tehran's nuclear infrastructure.
Netanyahu made the revelation in a video message released by the Prime Minister’s Office, Caliber.Az reports per Israeli media.
During the video message, Netanyahu held up a sheet of A4 paper, saying, “In fact, I gave this order to the defence leadership more than six months ago, on November 24. I am keeping it here.”
He continued, “This is an order for the de facto elimination of Iran's nuclear program,” underlining the strategic intent behind the operation.
Netanyahu further noted that the decision to begin preparations came shortly after the Israeli military eliminated the leadership of the Lebanese Hezbollah group in September 2024, including its long-standing Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah. The operation against Iran was initially scheduled to commence at the end of April 2025, the prime minister added.
