Israeli PM vows to hold accomplices accountable after attack in Holon
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel will hold responsible anyone who assisted the perpetrator behind a recent stabbing attack in a Tel Aviv suburb, which resulted in two deaths and two injuries.
"This morning in Holon, a southern suburb of Tel Aviv, a deadly terrorist attack occurred. I extend my condolences to the families of the victims and wish a swift recovery to the injured. I commend the police for their efforts in confronting the attacker and neutralizing the terrorist. We will hold accountable all those who assisted him," Netanyahu said, Caliber.Az reports citing the Russian media.
Earlier in Holon, a man armed with a knife attacked pedestrians. Two individuals were killed, and two others were hospitalized with varying degrees of injury. The attacker was neutralized on the spot by police.
The police have classified the incident as a terrorist attack. According to the investigation, the assailant was a 20-year-old resident of Salfit in the West Bank. The area around the crime scene has been thoroughly searched, but no accomplices of the perpetrator have been identified.
