Israeli police arrest four over alleged support for Iran
04 March 2026 12:43
Israeli police have announced the arrest of four people from Hebron in the occupied West Bank on suspicion of supporting Iran during the ongoing war.
The individuals — three men and one woman — face charges including “words of praise, sympathy, encouragement of violent acts, and support or identification with a hostile organisation,” Israeli police said in a statement, Al Jazeera reports.
According to the police, one of the detainees is a legal adviser with the Palestinian Authority who allegedly shared a social media post praising the late Iranian leader Khamenei.
