Israeli police foil alleged murder plot, arrest three armed suspects
On February 11, regional police in Israel received a report about a group of individuals allegedly on their way to carry out a murder, according to the Israel Police press service.
In response, detectives from the regional investigative unit, together with officers from the Ramla police station, carried out a joint operation. As a result of the coordinated effort, three suspects were arrested near the “Hakal” garden.
A search of the suspects’ vehicle uncovered a firearm loaded with ammunition, as well as additional military-grade munitions.
The detainees were transferred to investigative authorities for further proceedings. Police stated that additional inspections were conducted and confirmed that there is currently no ongoing threat to public safety.
