Israeli rescuers return home from quake-hit Türkiye

On February 13, 160 rescuers returned to Israel by Israel Defence Forces (IDF) aircraft, completing their participation in the Olive Branches humanitarian mission.

As NEWSru.co.il was informed in the press service of the IDF, during their six-day stay in Türkiye, they rescued 19 people aged from two to 65 from the quake rubble.

Despite the rescuers' return, Israeli doctors continue to work in Türkiye.

Israelis returning from the quake-struck Türkiye were met at the airport by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
