Israeli attacks on Lebanon kill over 1,170, including 104 children
In total, 1,174 people, including 104 children and 194 women, have died as a result of Israeli military actions in Lebanon, according to a statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
Recent airstrikes on the suburb of Anqoun in southern Lebanon resulted in the deaths of at least four individuals, while five others sustained injuries, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
“Five Lebanese citizens were tragically killed in the town of Bint Jbeil, with ten others sustaining injuries amid the ongoing Israeli aggression. In a broader context, air attacks have led to the deaths of 16 individuals and injured 115, causing significant damage to the state hospital in Qana, located in the city of Tyre,” the statement reads.
Furthermore, the Bekaa region reported nine fatalities and 42 injuries, underscoring the widespread impact of the conflict. In the southern cities of Nabatieh and Marjayoun, seven people lost their lives, and 40 were injured, contributing to the escalating toll.
According to the official report, yesterday alone, the latest Israeli airstrikes claimed the lives of 105 individuals, leaving 359 others injured.
