Israeli troops destroy 4-kilometre militant tunnel in southern Gaza

Soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have destroyed a 4-kilometre-long tunnel used by militants in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

“In the southern Gaza Strip, east of the ‘Yellow Line,’ work to destroy an underground tunnel that began about a year ago has been completed. Several bunkers were equipped inside the 4-kilometer-long tunnel, and weapons were stored there,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the IDF press service.

The press service added that “IDF units are deployed in the area in accordance with the terms of the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to eliminate any threat.”
