Japan deploys MSDF flotilla to 11 Indo-Pacific countries

Japan's command has sent a flotilla of Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force to participate in several international exercises, which includes the helicopter destroyer Izumo and two destroyers, as well as a submarine, a patrol plane, and other equipment.
According to a Moscow-based MK newspaper, the ships also plan to visit many countries and territories, including the United States, India, Australia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and the Solomon Islands.
In addition to Japan, the RIMPAC (Rim of the Pacific Exercise) military exercise includes Australia, the United States, and South Korea.
