Jeff Bezos sells over 3.3 million Amazon shares

Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon.com Inc., sold over 3.3 million shares of the company at the end of June 2025, totalling $736.7 million, according to documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The shares were sold in accordance with a plan announced in March, which allows for the sale of up to 25 million Amazon shares by May 29, 2026, Caliber.Az reports, citing Forbes.

Bezos has regularly sold company shares in recent years but remains the largest individual shareholder. Since 2022, he has sold Amazon shares worth approximately $44 billion.

Earlier, he stated his intention to sell $1 billion worth of Amazon shares annually to fund the activities of his aerospace company, Blue Origin.

Bezos ranks fourth on the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires list of the world’s richest people. His net worth is estimated at $234.4 billion, up 0.42%.
