Jordan fully reopens airspace

Jordan has fully reopened its airspace, lifting restrictions that had been imposed amid regional security concerns, the country’s aviation authorities announced.

The authorities said that the airspace is now open to all flights, following a thorough assessment of the security situation and flight operations in light of recent regional events. The earlier decision to partially close the airspace has therefore been revoked, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

The previous day, Jordan had limited air traffic by closing its airspace from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. local time in response to the escalating situation in the region.
