Juventus star Pogba risks four-year ban following failed doping test
Famous Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been provisionally suspended following an anti-doping offence.
As reported by BBC, the French national player has tested positive for elevated testosterone levels, which increases endurance, after having been chosen for a random post-match drug test on August 20.
The Italian club issued a statement, saying "Juventus Football Club announces that today, 11 September, 2023, the footballer Paul Labile Pogba received a precautionary suspension order from the National Anti-Doping Tribunal following the results of tests carried out on 20 August, 2023".
According to the publication, he has three days to produce a counter-analysis of the result to the anti-doping agency. If he should be found guilty he could be facing a playing ban of two up to four years.
