Kabul school blast injures dozens, most of them children

An explosion occurred near the private Sham-e-Hedayat school in Kabul, Afghanistan, on August 17, injuring at least 52 people, most of them children.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack, while the Taliban have yet to provide any information about the incident, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
The explosion occurred in the school courtyard in the western part of the city as students were leaving their classrooms. Preliminary information indicates that the blast was caused by a hand grenade.
