Media: Kazakh military attaché assistant arrested in Poland on espionage charges

Polish authorities have arrested an assistant military attaché from the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine on charges of espionage.

“An assistant to the military attaché of the Kazakh Embassy in Ukraine has been arrested in Poland for espionage,” KazTAG, reports, citing a source familiar with the matter.

Details surrounding the arrest, including the individual's identity, the nature of the alleged espionage activities, and the timeframe of the incident, have not yet been disclosed by Polish authorities.

KazTAG has submitted formal inquiries to both the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence, seeking clarification and official comment on the matter.
