Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan discuss cooperation on higher education
Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have discussed prospects for cooperation in higher education and science as part of a meeting between Aghalar Atamoglanov, Azerbaijani Ambassador and Sayasat Nurbek, Kazakhstan's Minister of Science and Higher Education, according to Kazakhstan's Ministry.
It said the talks focused on the internationalisation of higher education, strengthening bilateral collaboration in science and academia, and deepening academic exchanges between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The discussions also highlighted the importance of increasing student and faculty mobility, developing joint academic programmes, and expanding international cooperation in the education sector.
The two sides further exchanged views on attracting more international students to Kazakhstan's higher and postgraduate institutions, adopting global best practices, and boosting the export of educational services.
At the end of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation and promoting the international development of higher education.
