Kazan–Dushanbe flight makes emergency landing following passenger illness

A Nordwind Airlines flight from Kazan to Dushanbe was forced to return to its departure airport and make an emergency landing after a passenger fell ill.

The incident occurred on October 28, shortly after the plane took off. According to reports, the crew promptly decided to divert the flight back to Kazan to ensure the passenger received immediate medical attention, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

Upon landing, medical personnel attended to the passenger, who ultimately declined hospitalization.

The aircraft subsequently departed Kazan again at 05:17 Moscow time (06:17 Baku time) to continue its journey to Dushanbe, completing the flight without further incident.
