Knife attack on military recruiters in Ukraine leaves two wounded Photo

A 29-year-old man has been arrested after attacking personnel from Ukraine’s Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) near the village of Strumok in the Chernivtsi region, local authorities said.

According to the regional prosecutor’s office, the suspect assaulted two TRC employees with a knife, inflicting stab wounds to their necks, Caliber.Az reports per Ukrainian media. 

He then proceeded to damage an official vehicle and struck another employee—reportedly from a military registration and enlistment office—in the forearm using a wrench.

The victims received medical assistance, though the extent of their injuries has not been officially detailed.
