Kremlin: NATO military expansion poses threat to Russia
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has expressed concerns over the threat posed by NATO's military infrastructure advancing towards Russia's borders.
Commenting on Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's statement about the West's preparations for a conflict with Russia, Peskov reiterated the Kremlin's stance on the issue, Caliber.Az reports, citing a Russian news source.
Peskov stated, "The North Atlantic Alliance continues to advance its military infrastructure towards our borders, continues to surround us with its military infrastructure, which poses a danger to us."
He further emphasized that NATO remains confrontational, specifically designed for confrontation tasks, and is fulfilling these functions. This ongoing development, Peskov noted, poses a significant risk to Russia's security.
