Kuwait, Algeria hold urgent talks on regional security

Foreign Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, held a phone conversation on Tuesday, March 17, with his counterpart from Algeria, Ahmed Attaf, to discuss regional security developments.

According to a statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait on the social platform X, cited by Caliber.Az, Attaf expressed Algeria’s solidarity with Kuwait amid recent Iranian attacks and emphasised the importance of respecting Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The ministers also reviewed the broader regional situation and reaffirmed their commitment to continued dialogue and cooperation aimed at strengthening stability.
