Kuwait intercepts incoming drone attacks as air defences engage targets
Kuwait came under missile and drone attacks on the morning of June 1, with air defence systems engaging incoming targets.
In a statement published on the social media platform X, the General Staff of the Kuwait Armed Forces said: “Any explosions that may be heard are the result of air defense systems intercepting hostile targets.”

The military also urged the public to follow safety instructions and comply with guidance issued by the relevant authorities.
However, the statement did not specify where the missiles and drones were launched from, nor did it identify potential targets of the attacks.
