Kuwait orders two Iranian diplomats to leave within 24 hours
Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that it summoned Iran’s chargé d’affaires, declared two Iranian diplomats persona non grata and ordered them to leave Kuwait within a maximum of 24 hours.
The ministry said the Iranian diplomatic representative was handed an official protest note over what Kuwait described as ongoing Iranian “aggressive actions,” along with a decision to reduce the size of the Iranian embassy staff, Caliber.Az reports.

A deputy foreign minister described the Iranian attacks, involving ballistic missiles and drones, as “brutal,” saying they resumed at dawn.
The statement noted that the targets included civilian infrastructure and critical facilities, including Kuwait International Airport, resulting in one death, dozens of injuries among civilians, and material damage to vital infrastructure and diplomatic missions.
Earlier reports said Iran had carried out renewed strikes on Kuwait and Bahrain, with casualties and damage reported at civilian and strategic sites, including the airport.
