Kuwait reports drone and missile strike on Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port
Kuwaiti authorities have reported a new attack targeting critical infrastructure, with Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port on Bubiyan Island coming under fire from drones and cruise missiles.
According to Al Jazeera, Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works said the port’s infrastructure was hit by what it described as “hostile drones and cruise missiles.” The attack caused material damage, though no casualties were reported.
Officials added that the incident followed an earlier strike the same morning on Shuwaikh Port, another key facility in the country. That attack also resulted in material damage but no reported injuries.
The back-to-back incidents mark a continued pattern of strikes on Kuwait’s port infrastructure within a single day, raising concerns about the security of key economic and logistical hubs.
