Kuwait’s air defences shoot down 23 drones launched from Iran

Kuwait’s air defence systems have intercepted and neutralised 23 drones launched from Iranian territory over the past 48 hours.

A representative of the emirate’s Ministry of Defence said this during a briefing.

“Over the past 48 hours, we successfully detected the launch of 23 drones and neutralised them,” the official stated.

According to the ministry, since the beginning of the escalation, air raid sirens have sounded 67 times. Over the past week, air defence systems have detected the launch of 14 ballistic missiles, 12 of which were destroyed.
