Drone debris damages buildings in Kuwait after interception UPDATED
Kuwait Ministry of Defence said that debris from intercepted Iranian drones caused damage to a government building in northern Kuwait and to equipment owned by a private company on Bubiyan Island.
The ministry stated that the damage occurred after the drones were successfully intercepted by air defence systems, with falling fragments impacting the affected sites.
Officials emphasised that no casualties were reported as a result of the incident.

Kuwait’s air defence systems are actively intercepting drones launched from Iranian territory, the Ministry of Defence said on August 1.
In a brief statement, the ministry said the interceptions were ongoing, without providing further details on the number of drones or any potential damage.
Authorities urged the public to adhere to safety measures and follow instructions issued by official channels.
