Kuwait reopens airspace after temporary closure UPDATED
Kuwait has reopened its airspace following a brief suspension triggered by regional security concerns linked to Iranian attacks, the country’s Civil Aviation Authority said.
According to the authority, air traffic operations have now resumed, and flights will proceed in line with the approved national schedule.

Kuwait’s military says its air defence systems are actively intercepting hostile aerial targets, as regional tensions escalate.
“The General Staff of the Army announces that air defence systems are currently intercepting hostile aerial targets in accordance with the adopted operational procedures,” it said in a statement posted on X.
It urged the public to follow official guidance and avoid unverified information.
“It urges everyone to adhere to the security and safety instructions and guidelines issued by the competent authorities, and to obtain information from the approved official sources,” the statement added.
