Kuwait: US embassy warns of potential attacks on American institutions

The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait has issued a warning to American citizens about possible attacks on U.S. universities, companies, and other institutions in the country by groups supporting Iran.

The advisory, posted on the embassy’s website, states: “Iran and its aligned terrorist militias may intend to target universities in Kuwait.  Iran has specifically threatened American universities across the Middle East.”

The embassy urged Americans remaining in Kuwait to stay in secure locations and avoid approaching windows in buildings.
