Kyiv discloses Russian army losses since start of war
The Ukrainian troops have eliminated 400 Russian soldiers over the past 24 hours, bringing the overall Russian personnel losses to 206,600 since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the Ukraine Armed Forces General Staff.
"Total enemy combat losses from February 24, 2022, to May 28, 2023, are estimated as follows:
personnel - about 206,600 (+400);
tanks – 3,797 (+3);
armoured combat vehicles – 7,456 (+7);
artillery systems - 3,425 (+11);
multiple rocket launchers MLRS - 574 (+0);
air defence forces - 329 (+0);
aircraft - 313 (+0) units; helicopters - 298 (+0);
helicopters - 298 (+0);
operational-tactical UAVs – 2,993 (+3);
cruise missiles - 1,056 (+0);
ships/boats - 18 (+0);
vehicles and tankers – 6,192 (+9);
special-purpose vehicles - 451 (+2) units," the report says.
