Kyiv launches "Hungarian radio" in response to anti-Ukrainian statements
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched an online “radio” featuring commentary on anti-Ukrainian statements from Hungarian officials, titled “Hungarian Radio Ukraine.”
The ministry’s spokesperson, Heorhii Tykhyi, shared a link to the audio stream, describing it as Kyiv’s official response to ongoing anti-Ukrainian remarks from Budapest.
Every day, Hungarian officials are making absurd statements about Ukraine.

We are tired of reacting to each one and decided to post our position online in a form of a radio, accessible 24/7.
We call it “Hungarian Radio Ukraine”.

“Every day, Hungarian officials are making absurd statements about Ukraine. We are tired of reacting to each one and decided to post our position online in a form of a radio, accessible 24/7,” Tykhyi said.
The recorded commentary added: “We reject manipulations regarding Ukraine that [Hungarian] Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his team regularly allow themselves. We condemn his repeated attempts to drag Ukraine into his domestic politics or election campaign.
Ukraine has never wished harm upon neighbouring Hungary and does not intend to. We urge all Hungarians not to trust the toxic anti-Ukrainian propaganda coming from Hungarian officials. We are committed to being good neighbours, EU and NATO members, not part of the ‘Russian world.’ Thank you for listening to Hungarian Radio of Ukraine.”
