Kyiv reports over 30 military clashes between Ukrainian, Russian troops Operational summary
Over 30 military clashes took place between the Ukrainian and Russian troops in four directions on June 15.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces made the remarks in the operational summary of hostilities, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
"Tonight, the Russian Federation launched another air strike against Ukraine - it engaged two Iranian ‘Shahed’ type attack UAVs. All the drones were destroyed by the anti-aircraft defence,” the report noted.
According to the statement, over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out five missile strikes, using X-101/Kh-555 and X-59 cruise missiles, firing over 60 air strikes and more than 80 rocket launchers on positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.
“Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded civilians, industrial facilities in Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region, residential houses and administrative infrastructure in Kherson region were damaged,” the statement read.
Besides, it was stated that the likelihood of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains very high.
Meanwhile, Russia continues to concentrate its main efforts in the Liman, Bakhmut, Avdeevsk and Mariinsk directions - more than 30 military clashes took place in the past 24 hours.
Aircraft defence forces over the past 24 hours conducted 13 strikes on areas of concentration of Russian personnel. The general staff stressed that the Ukrainian troops also destroyed 20 Iranian "Shahed-131/136" type attack UAVs, Orlan-10 operational-tactical UAVs and three reconnaissance UAVs.
“Units of missile forces and artillery struck two command posts, S-300 surface-to-air missile system, four areas of enemy personnel and military equipment concentration, three ammunition depots and seven artillery units in firing positions over the past 24 hours,” the statement finalised.
