Kyiv: Ukraine repulses 60 Russian attacks in three directions

The Ukraine Army General Staff has stated that the Ukrainian troops had repelled about 60 Russian attacks in Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinsky directions.

“The enemy launched one missile and 46 air strikes over the past 24 hours. It has carried out about 60 rocket launcher attacks on our troops' positions and settlements. It is actively using aviation, using cruise air bombs in Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions. As a result, there are deaths and injuries among civilians, and private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed and damaged,” Caliber.Az cites the General Staff as saying.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

Over the past 24 hours, there has been shelling of settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv regions.

The enemy continues its offensive in the Bakhmut direction. Heavy fighting for the town of Bakhmut continues. Also during the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka and Ivanivske villages.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out offensives in the areas of Novokalynove and Pervomayskoye, Donetsk Region, with no success and heavy losses.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian defenders repulsed numerous enemy attacks in the northern and central parts of the Marinka settlement and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk Region.

The enemy continues to conduct defensive actions in the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions. At the same time, more than 40 settlements were shelled during the day. About 25 residential buildings were damaged. There are casualties among civilians.

Russian troops continue to plunder the civilian population of Ukraine by appropriating the grain harvest. For example, in the city of Berdyansk in the Zaporizhzhya region, the so-called Russian interim authorities are trying to remove stolen grain by loading it onto their cargo ships.

Ukrainian aviation conducted 14 strikes on enemy strongholds in the past 24 hours. Also, 2 Merlin-type reconnaissance UAVs and 1 Orlan-10 and 8 Lancet-type kamikaze drones were shot down. Rocket and artillery units struck three enemy electronic warfare stations.

In a separate report, the General Staff said that over the past 24 hours the Ukrainian troops have eliminated 660 Russian soldiers, bringing the overall Russian personnel losses to 187,080 since the start of the full-scale invasion, RBC-Ukraine reports.
