Kyrgyz security forces detain teenagers planning bomb attacks PHOTO

Kyrgyz authorities have uncovered a plot by teenagers in the country to carry out terrorist attacks over the past six months.

Some were detained while studying instructions for making improvised explosive devices, while others were caught during the production stage, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kyrgyzstan's State Committee for National Security (SCNS).

The committee said the teenagers had been recruited online by members of terrorist organisations. 

“This often happens unnoticed, under the guise of friendship, through manipulation, pressure, or false promises. Parents need to be alert to changes in their children’s behaviour and maintain open dialogue with them,” the committee warned.
