Kyrgyz special services detain suspects in coup attempt

Officials of the State National Security Committee (SNSC) of Kyrgyzstan have detained a "group of people" who were allegedly planning to stage a coup d'etat and seize power by force.

The names of the suspects and their number were not specified, 24.kg news agency reported citing sources.

However, a video published by the agency shows that the detention took place in the private sector. At least six security officers took part in it.
