Kyrgyzstan advises citizens to avoid travel to Russia due to enhanced border controls
Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Ministry has issued a travel advisory urging its citizens to avoid travelling to Russia until current enhanced border controls are lifted.
The advisory comes in response to additional security measures and stringent controls on the entry of foreign nationals into Russia., Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry.
The Kyrgyz Embassy in Russia has recommended that Kyrgyz citizens, unless they have urgent reasons to travel, refrain from visiting Russia until the heightened security measures are removed. This precaution aims to prevent any potential complications that could arise due to the current border control regime.
In case of any issues or emergencies, Kyrgyz citizens in Russia are advised to seek assistance from their embassy. The Foreign Ministry's advisory underscores the importance of adhering to travel guidelines to ensure the safety and smooth passage of Kyrgyz nationals.
