Kyrgyzstan records second earthquake in days

Another earthquake was recorded in Kyrgyzstan on April 25, Kyrgyz media reported, referencing the information released by the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences.
The institute said the epicentre was located within the country, 14 kilometres northeast of the village of Ak-Kuduk and 53 kilometres northwest of the city of Naryn.
In populated areas, the intensity reached 3.5 in Ak-Kuduk; 3 in the villages of Vosmoye Marta, Kadyraly, Shoro, and Sary-Iymek; and 2.5 in Kara-Oy, Uch-Kuduk, Kulanak, and Dostuk.
The report also noted that on April 22, a magnitude 3.3 earthquake was recorded on the border between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
