Kyrgyzstan to begin construction of new city PHOTO
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has announced that on June 30 he will lay a capsule at the construction site of the city of Asman.
According to Anadolu news agency, the president announced this at the opening of a new park in Cholpon-Ata.
According to him, it took 1.5 years to prepare the documentation and project. "The future city will be inhabited by 500 thousand to 700 thousand people. The total area of the city will be 4 thousand hectares. Construction will be financed by foreign investors - foreign companies," the president said.
Japarov also called on local residents and vacationers to respect and take care of cultural sites and the environment.
The head of state especially emphasized the need to support investors and create favourable conditions for them, especially to help domestic investors who want to build something for the benefit and development of the country.
On the eve of the tourist season, he urged to maintain a clean environment and take care of the infrastructure to increase the attractiveness of tourist sites among the country's guests.
