Kyrgyzstan, Turkic Investment Fund sign MoU to boost cross-border investment

29 July 2026 17:09

The Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) and Kyrgyzstan's National Investment Agency have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening investment cooperation and supporting economic integration.

The agreement was signed in Bishkek during the "Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan: Industrial Cooperation, Investment and Trade" business forum, as Caliber.Az reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

Under the memorandum, the National Investment Agency will assist the Turkic Investment Fund in identifying and implementing investment projects in Kyrgyzstan. In turn, the fund will work to attract financing, support cross-border investments and promote projects that contribute to regional economic integration.

The Turkic Investment Fund is the first specialised international financial institution established by the Turkic states, being in control of a $600 million portfolio.
