Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan plan to expand cooperation in construction
Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have agreed to expand cooperation in construction, architecture, and housing and utilities, according to the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities.
Kyrgyz Deputy Minister Baktyiar Stanbekov and Uzbek Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities Toir Alimatov held talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and exploring the signing of a memorandum between the relevant agencies of both countries, Caliber.Az reports per Kyrgyz media.
The discussions placed particular emphasis on the digitalisation of construction oversight systems, the adoption of modern management practices in the sector, and the exchange of best practices between the two countries.
Both sides also discussed improving transparency in construction processes and enhancing monitoring of project implementation through digital tools.
At the conclusion of the talks, the two delegations reaffirmed their intention to continue working toward deeper cooperation in the construction and housing sector.
