Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan reaffirm strategic partnership during high-level talks PHOTO

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov has received Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov in the resort city of Cholpon-Ata, where the two sides discussed a broad range of issues on bilateral relations, including political dialogue and economic cooperation, according to Kyrgyzstan’s presidential press service.

During the meeting, Zhaparov highlighted the steady development of the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and expressed confidence that the upcoming Intergovernmental Commission session on June 23 would provide new momentum for advancing key areas of cooperation, Caliber.Az reports via Kyrgyz media. 

Aripov conveyed greetings from Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and thanked the Kyrgyz side for the warm reception, while reaffirming Uzbekistan’s readiness to implement previously reached high-level agreements.

Both sides underscored their commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties based on friendship, good-neighbourliness, and strategic partnership, with a focus on sustainable development and regional stability in Central Asia.
