"Lake America": Trump jokes about renaming Lake Ontario VIDEO

US President Donald Trump has posted a video on TikTok in which he jokingly renames Lake Ontario “Lake America,” adding another provocative twist to his rhetoric about US-Canada relations.

In the video, Trump points to a map showing Lake Ontario, which lies along the border between Canada and the United States, before suggesting that its name should be changed.

“So, this is Lake Ontario in Canada and the United States. But we’re going to make a little change and not call it Ontario, but call it something else. We’re going to call it Lake America,” Trump says in the video.

He then takes a printed map, crosses out the name “Lake Ontario” with a marker and writes “Lake America” in large letters.
