Large-scale wildfire rages in Aghdam, Aghdara districts of Azerbaijan

A massive wildfire continues to sweep through parts of Azerbaijan's Aghdam and Aghdara districts, with emergency services battling to contain the blaze amid challenging terrain.

According to local media outlet Oxu.Az, while firefighters have managed to extinguish the fire in several areas, the flames persist in regions with complex topography, hampering full containment efforts.

Firefighting teams and specialised equipment from the State Fire Protection Service have been dispatched to the affected zones from neighbouring Khojaly and Aghdara, reinforcing the response alongside local units from Aghdam.

Authorities report that multiple villages have been affected by the fire.
