Lebanese lawmaker: Hezbollah to uphold ceasefire if Israel complies

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has reaffirmed Lebanon's and Hezbollah's commitment to maintaining the ceasefire under the terms of a memorandum of understanding involving the United States and Iran.

Berri said Hezbollah would continue to observe the ceasefire provided that Israel fully complies with its obligations under the agreement. He stressed that the group's adherence to the truce remains contingent on Israel's comprehensive implementation of the ceasefire terms, Caliber.Az reports via Al Arabiya.

Separately, Lebanese media outlets reported that a planned trip by an Iranian negotiating delegation to Switzerland could be postponed following Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon.
