Lebanese, UAE presidents discuss regional developments
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation to discuss the situation in Lebanon and broader regional developments, including the framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel announced in Washington a day earlier.
According to a statement from the Lebanese presidency, the two leaders exchanged views on the latest political and security developments and the implications of the newly announced agreement, Caliber.Az reports.

During the call, Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE's support for Lebanon and expressed his country's readiness to assist in the political, economic, and social sectors to help the country address its ongoing challenges.
President Aoun thanked the Emirati leader for the UAE's continued backing and expressed appreciation for the assistance Abu Dhabi has provided to Lebanon and its people.
