Lebanon reaffirms ban on Hezbollah as UN peacekeepers come under attack

Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry has condemned the attack on UN peacekeepers, reaffirming ban on Hezbollah’s security activities.

In a statement published on X, the ministry reported that the incidents occurred during routine patrols of UNIFIL forces near their bases in the southern towns of Yater, Deir Kifa, and Klaoui, Caliber.Az reports.

The ministry described the attack as a “serious and unacceptable” violation of international law and UN Security Council resolutions.
