Light aircraft crashes on private property in Australia, killing two PHOTO

Two people were killed after a light aircraft crashed and caught fire south of Brisbane, Australia, on September 7.

According to News24, citing police, a Beechcraft Bonanza crashed onto private property on Musch Road in the Chambers Flat area at around 11:10 a.m. The crash sparked a grass fire, prompting firefighters to be dispatched to the scene.

Flight-tracking services showed that the aircraft had departed Archerfield Airport at 10:58 a.m.

Police found two people dead inside the aircraft. No one on the ground was injured in the incident. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) has launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
